Agriturismo Case Leonori offers 4 attractive apartments on a beautiful estate with swimming pool and various facilities for young and old. Right next to our olive grove are 2 luxury safari tents with breathtaking views of the valley and the rolling hills and fields of the Marche.
At our agriturismo we run our farm on 16ha of organic land and we are happy to receive our guests to give them a wonderful, relaxing holiday time. Don’t worry, you won’t be bothered by the activity on our farmlands, the surrounding forests provide plenty of peace and privacy.
Our apartments and safari tents are fully furnished, fully equipped and a great starting point for your holiday in the pearl of Italy!
Le Marche: Italy in 1 region
Le Marche (also called De Marken in Dutch) is still a relatively unknown region in central Italy. Many Italians like to go on holiday in Le Marche themselves because this region is home to all the natural beauty that Italy has to offer in this region.
The hilly landscapes typical of Tuscany and Umbria, vast sunflower fields and old villages where time seems to stand still can be found in Le Marche. Fortunately, the throngs of tourists and crowds did not!
You will find beautiful towns, green hills and vistas, elongated beaches, delicious food in local restaurants and trattorias and mountainous landscapes in the Apennines. In addition, there are plenty of hiking opportunities in the Marches, both directly around our agriturismo and in various nature parks.

Enjoy our Agriturismo
Our agriturismo in the middle of Le Marche, near the historic town of Treia, offers you a perfect starting point to visit all the beauty that the region has to offer. In our immediate vicinity you can walk, cycle, visit beautiful towns and find various restaurants where the pasta is still made by hand.
Half an hour’s drive away you’ll find the historic, vibrant student city of Macerata with one of Italy’s oldest universities and a beautiful open-air theatre. Furthermore, cities such as San Severino Marche, Recanati, Loreto and Osimo are definitely worth a visit.
After a day on the road and enjoying the amazing treasures that Le Marche houses, it’s time to relax at our Agriturismo. Enjoy our spacious garden with shady seating areas, corners and hammocks where you can relax with a drink and a good book. Or cool off our swimming pool and enjoy the magnificent view over the valley that stretches in front of our estate from your sunbed.
Would you rather retreat to or in front of your apartment or safari tent? There you will find everything you need to spend ‘tempo di qualità’ with your partner and / or family: an attractive living room, a private outdoor terrace and of course a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own pasta and dolce!

About Us
We, Paul van der Heijden and Wendy Lievaart, together with our three children Stan (2010), Noor (2013) and Linde (2013) emigrated in 2019 to the beautiful Le Marche in Italy. From that moment on we are the proud owners of Agriturismo Case Leonori where we receive our guests in Italian atmospheres and run our organic farm on the surrounding 16 ha of land. In 2017, our search for a dream spot in our beloved region of Le Marche began. After more than 2 years of searching, we found the perfect place for us to live and above all found the place where our guests are going to feel at home. Centrally located in Le Marche, tucked between the hills, surrounded by forests and nature lies Agriturismo Case Leonori. Once an old farmhouse with barns, inhabited by a farming family, in recent years beautifully converted into 4 characteristic apartments, fully equipped.
