Agriturismo Case Leonori
Once an old farm with barns, inhabited by a farming family, in recent years Case Leonori has been tastefully converted into 4 characteristic apartments, fully equipped. Around our agriturismo we own 16ha of forest and agricultural land on which we grow various crops. On the edge of our olive grove are 2 spacious, luxurious safari tents with their own sanitary facilities and fully equipped according to the ‘Glamping’ principle.
Due to the thick walls of our Case, it stays refreshingly cool inside in the summer, in the spring and autumn underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth. All our apartments are fully equipped with kitchen, living room, bathroom, tastefully decorated bedrooms and all have their own private terrace. The safari tents have private sanitary facilities, kitchen, lounge area, bedrooms with comfortable beds, spacious indoor and outdoor space and a fan-tastic view.
Our estate is located in the middle of nature, surrounded by forests with hiking and MTB trails, guaranteed silence and tranquility with all amenities at 5-10 minutes drive. In the summer we mainly welcome families with children, in the early and late season nature and culture lovers can also indulge themselves in our area.

Garden
Our agriturismo is surrounded by a beautiful, spacious park-like garden with various terraces, seating areas and hammocks where you can enjoy the nature around you. Linden, pine trees, lavender, jasmine and various fruit trees provide shade and delicious scents.
Choose a hammock and your favorite book or just muse away at the sound of the birds and wind through the trees.
Playground
For the kids there are various play equipment (swing, trampoline, a playhouse with slide and ping pong table) and you can play football to your heart’s content. In the surrounding forest you can play and go on an adventure.
In our garden you will also find a common room where you can have a drink or ice cream from our fridge and where you can find various games and toys.
Swimming pool
Our spacious swimming pool from 12 by 6 meters offers the necessary cooling in summer and playing fun for the children. We use saltwater electrolysis to keep the pool safe, this reduces red eyes and skin irritation.
Around the pool you will find plenty of sun beds and seatings to enjoy the sun and phenomenal views over the valley.
View
From our garden and swimming pool you have a unique view of the underlying valley and medieval towns. On clear days you can see the Adriatic sea, the Sibilini mountains and the Grand Sasso (Abruzzo).
You won’t be the first guest to enjoy for hours staring at this living painting and being caught by the meditative tranquility that radiates from this panorama!
Activities
We organize (in high season) various activities on our own premises with the emphasis on conviviality and celebrating holidays together. In addition, we work together with various local partners and companies in our immediate vicinity. In this way we hope to offer our guests an unforgettable holiday with something for everyone!
- Italian evening: once a week you can sit at a long table to dine together under the stars;
- Aperitivo: Every Sunday afternoon we raise the glass together during our aperitivo and you can get to know us and the other guests while enjoying a snack and drink;
- Pasta making workshop: learn the art of making pasta by hand at a local restaurant, then enjoy your own creations;
- Pizza night: enjoying the tastiest margheritas and diavolos from our local pizza baker together;
- Evening swimming: the lights in and around the pool go on and you can play in the dark, of course with the music on;
- MTB tour: discover the most beautiful and exciting MTB trails around our agriturismo with our electric MTB bikes;
- Treia City Tour: weekly tour through our beautiful medieval settlement city, accompanied by an English speaking guide;
- Wine tasting: walk around among the vines of a fattoria and enjoy a tasting of local wines and appetizers;
- Horseback riding tour: make a nice trip on horseback through the woods and fields around our agriturismo.
About Us
We, Paul van der Heijden and Wendy Lievaart, together with our three children Stan (2010), Noor (2013) and Linde (2013) emigrated in 2019 to the beautiful Le Marche in Italy. From that moment on we are the proud owners of Agriturismo Case Leonori where we receive our guests in Italian atmospheres and run our organic farm on the surrounding 16 ha of land. In 2017, our search for a dream spot in our beloved region of Le Marche began. After more than 2 years of searching, we found the perfect place for us to live and above all found the place where our guests are going to feel at home. Centrally located in Le Marche, tucked between the hills, surrounded by forests and nature lies Agriturismo Case Leonori.
