MTB in the Marche, near Case Leonori! Every season we organize several MTB tours in our immediate vicinity. With electric mountain bikes, that is, and therefore doable for (almost) everyone.
With our agriturismo we are in the middle of an extensive mountain bike area. In addition to beautiful single trails through the forest, there are 5 challenging enduro descents where the real die hards with a full-face helmet and back protection plunge down.
We take it a little easier 🙂 Every week we organize an MTB tour with electric bikes, tailored to the level and wishes of the group.
For the more experienced mountain biker, there is the possibility to go into the forest and follow some challenging, technical trails. With a rough descent here and there and for those who want a nice ‘drop’. A highlight is the stony path to Roccaccia, a ruin located a few kilometers from our Case. Just before reaching the old fortress you drive on a narrow path of rocks, with great views and steep slopes on both sides.
If you prefer a more ‘recreational’ MTB ride, we have a nice tour through the campagna (countryside). We then drive on gravel and asphalt through the typical Marchegian hilly landscape to Treia. Along the way you can enjoy swaying grain fields, sunflowers and beautiful views down to the sea. With the occasional descent on the road… Don’t worry, you set the pace.
In Treia we make a stop, park the bike for a while and there is room for culture. Together with the local ProLoco (VVV) we make a small tour along the beautiful theater and the Bracciale museum. We continue on the bike ‘under’ Treia along the sunflower fields and old farms. A final climb brings us back to San Lorenzo and our agriturismo.
